EFFECTS OF FOUNDATION ON DESTINY FULFILMENT II

EFFECTS OF FOUNDATION ON DESTINY FULFILMENT II

MARCH 27, 2025

TEXT: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (GALATIANS 3:13-14)

As we continue our exploration of the concept of foundation, it’s clear that a strong foundation is crucial for glorious manifestation. However, many biblical characters struggled with foundational defects that affected subsequent generations.

Case Studies: Biblical Characters with Foundational Defects

  1. Abraham: The Power of Deception

Abraham, the father of faith, had a flaw – he lied to protect himself. This pattern of deception continued in his son Isaac and grandson Jacob, highlighting the importance of honesty and integrity.

  1. Levi: The Dangers of Uncontrolled Anger

Levi’s hot temper led to destructive consequences, resurfacing in his descendant Moses and preventing him from entering the Promised Land. This emphasizes the need for self-control and anger management.

  1. David: The Legacy of Lust

David’s love for women led to multiple marriages and concubines, perpetuating a legacy of polygamy that continued for over three generations. This underscores the importance of self-discipline and healthy relationships.

Consequences of a Polluted Foundation

The stories of these biblical characters demonstrate the far-reaching consequences of foundational defects. As believers, we must recognize that being born again is not a guarantee of freedom from these ties.

Overcoming Foundational Limitations

To break free from faulty foundations, we must:

  1. Live a life free of sin (Romans 6:23, 1 John 3:9).
  2. Be a prayer warrior, for prayer is key to prevailing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
  3. Identify foundational challenges in your lineage and involve God’s help in breaking free.

SEARCHLIGHT: By acknowledging the importance of a strong foundation and taking steps to overcome foundational limitations, we can ensure a brighter future and fulfill our God-given potential.

PRAYER: O LORD, my foundation is in your hands, deliver me from every foundational “bomb” waiting to explode and shatter my destiny into pieces, in Jesus’ Name.
