TEXT: GALATIANS 6:7-8

KEY VERSE: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (GALATIANS 6:7-8).

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get away with wrongdoing, only to face consequences later? The Bible teaches us about the principle of sowing and reaping. We reap what we sow, whether good or bad.

Galatians 6:7-8 reminds us that God is not mocked. Whatever we sow, we’ll reap. Sowing to the flesh leads to corruption, while sowing to the Spirit leads to eternal life.

Sin may seem appealing, but its consequences are devastating. It can lead to destruction, heartache, and separation from God.

God’s justice is sure. He may not always intervene immediately, but His judgment is certain. We can’t outsmart God or escape His justice.

The good news is that God offers forgiveness and restoration. When we turn to Him, He forgives our sins and gives us new life.

Let’s live for God, sowing to the Spirit. May our lives honour Him, and may we reap the rewards of eternal life.

SEARCHLIGHT: The law of sowing and reaping is inviolable.

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to live for You, sowing to the Spirit. Give me wisdom and strength to make choices that honour You.

BIBLE READING:
Nehemiah 2-4, Philippians 3.
