BECOMING PART OF GOD’S KINGDOM
April 11, 2025
TEXT: Romans 10:9-10
KEY VERSE: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Regardless of where you find yourself today —whether you’re a sinner, backslider, or genuine believe, God’s grace offers forgiveness, restoration, and sanctification. What a joy it is to know that we are no longer separated from God, but instead joined in unity with Him through Jesus!
Through the work of Jesus Christ, our old nature is crucified and our old ways of life are transformed. Ephesians 4:22-24 tells us that we are “putting off our old self, which belongs to our former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of our minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
As we embrace the work of Jesus in our lives, we are delivered from the darkness of sin and brought into the light of God’s truth. Our hearts are changed from being prideful and self-seeking to becoming humble and trustworthy.
In the words of the Apostle Paul, we are being transformed from ‘children of disobedience’ to ‘children of God’ (Ephesians 5:8). This transformation is a gift of grace that we can only receive through faith in Jesus Christ.
Some Blessings Of Becoming Part Of God’s Kingdom Include:
- Eternal life in heaven
- Peace and joy that surpasses all understanding
- A deep sense of purpose and belonging
- The love and fellowship of other believers
- The promise of God’s presence with you always
- The power of the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, and transform us
- The power to overcome temptation and adversity through the Holy Spirit
These blessings are available to all who turn to Jesus in faith.
Today, let us not allow anything to keep us from being part of God’s family. Whether it’s fear, shame, or the weight of our sins, let us not allow anything to stop us from accepting the invitation of God’s love and grace. Jesus’ work on the cross has overcome every obstacle, so we can confidently approach Him in faith.
Dear reader, do not miss this opportunity to become part of God’s kingdom. Repent, turn to Jesus, and accept His gift of salvation today.
SEARCH LIGHT: Don’t let anything keep you from accepting God’s invitation.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please grant me the grace to continue in Your family. Help me to follow Jesus everyday, and to trust in Your love and forgiveness.
