DOUSING THE RAGE OF THE DEVIL AGAINST FAMILIES (I)
February 12, 2025
TEXT: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
If we study and observe our environment, one of the things we will observe is the terrifying level of rage being targeted at most families and households by the kingdom of darkness. The devil knows that once he gains control of families, he has achieved most of his objectives. He knows that conquering the family is a massive advantage for his kingdom, and thus he always sets out to achieve this goal and lead them away from fellowshipping with God. No wonder destinies and glories are being aborted daily. An average child from an average family is vulnerable to the attacks of the powers of darkness. Many who would have changed the history of their families and lineages have become shadows of their real selves, largely due to this constant rage of the enemies.
There are different techniques that the enemy uses to actualise his plans, and some of them include the following:
- Division: Satan’s aim is to cause division among families. He stirs up an atmosphere that makes harmony almost impossible. He knows that once a family cannot make decisions in unity, such a family is on the brink of collapse and tragedy. Nothing substantial can be achieved in an arena of disharmony and chaos.
- Deceit: Most people are hoodwinked by the devil into believing nonsense. Social media platforms are one of the sources of deception, as they enable people to spread lies and fake information. Many families find themselves in bondage today because they tried to utilise what they read or saw on the internet.
- Destruction: The ultimate outcome of everything is to eliminate families and render them empty and wasted. All the above three techniques are what the devil uses to hold many families down in bondage and captivity.
