FAMILY ALTAR

Text : For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord… ( Gen 18:19 )
Family Altar is a place of devotion, where the family comes together to fellowship at the feet of Jesus – the place where the Word of God appears ” NEW EVERY MORNING” through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the place where the Trinity communicates with us and sets the tone for the day, the place of renewal and refreshing. It’s a place where we break the Word of God into digestible pieces for absorption, where we release burdens and place them on Calvary, where we get access to the riches of heaven, and where we die daily to our flesh. Family altar time is a sacred space where the destiny of a family can be transformed and redirected.
The Joy of worshipping with God on daily basis brings about heavenly shower of blessings, it promote closeness,love and harmony within a family. Additionally, family altar time can help shape and guide children, providing them with a solid spiritual foundation as they grow.
Unfortunately, so many family altars have gone into EXTINCTION because they have become too busy ,distracted by the demands of modern life. Social media, worldly cares and hectic schedules have contributed to this. The busyness of life has replaced the priority of God and family altar time and such families have deprived themselves of the blessings that comes through worshipping with the trinity on daily basis. Is your Family Altar in EXISTENCE or in EXTINCTION ❓

It’s time you bring back your family altar!
▪️Schedule a regular time each day to gather together as a family, both in the morning and evening.
▪️Create a dedicated space for family altar time, and involve all family members, especially the children, in activities like worship, prayer, and reading scripture.
▪️Each person can then share their insights and learnings from the day’s message. By taking these steps, you’ll help your family thrive and flourish.”
