FROM GLORY TO GLORY: THE LATTER GLORY

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:9)
In this final series of the topic, which we commenced two days ago, we shall round up by examining the various conditions that must be put in place to ensure the manifestation of the latter glory. It is one thing for God’s promise to be in place; the manifestation of the promise is another thing. It is no hidden secret that we have a significant part to play if the manifestation of God’s promises must actually take place.
Conditions for the Manifestation of the Latter Glory
Provoke the manifestation: It is not enough that you have seen and read about the promise of the latter glory (as it pertains to any aspect of your life and destiny). Set the machinery in motion to ensure its manifestation. Do not just stay idle, as things like this hardly come to manifestation unprovoked.
Diligence: This is also another condition. A slothful individual may find it hard to walk in the promise of the latter glory and its manifestation.
Avoid fear: Fear of the unknown can sometimes inhibit the manifestation of the glorious future. Ordinarily, the Israelites, during the time of the second rebuilding of the temple by Zerubbabel, the governor of the city, must have been afraid of whether indeed the promise of God in verses 7-9 of Haggai chapter 2 would actually manifest. Let fear not hold you back in this regard. Let your whole trust and confidence be in your Creator.
Show desire for improvement: There must be visible signs indicating that you are tired of your current state. You must not be too comfortable in your comfort zone. Show readiness to move into that realm of greater glory, and watch God pilot your affairs for you.
Patience and optimism: Do not expect the promise to happen rapidly and promptly. God is not a magician; it will take time (Habakkuk 2:3). Pray earnestly and seek the face of God Almighty until the manifestation takes place.
SEARCHLIGHT: Key into God’s promises for your life today regardless of present challenges. At the end, victory and glorious manifestation are certain.
PRAYERS: O LORD, envelop me with the garment of glorious manifestation, in the name of Jesus.
