GRACE FOR GREATER WITNESSING IN THE YEAR 2025

TEXT: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matthew 28:19)
Today’s devotional is largely based on motivating ourselves to lend more effort towards promoting the kingdom of God this coming year. Like we have emphasized on several occasions, the Great Commission is a mandatory task for everyone in the body of Christ. It is not an assignment set aside for only a particular set of people. In fact, it is an aberration for us to be surrounded by souls who keep perishing as each day goes by, yet we seem to care less about their plights.
There are many gospel-disadvantaged areas that require more hands if the gospel is to actually spread to their locality. Carrying out God’s great evangelistic commission is not a mere assignment. It requires the grace of God to constantly be in operation in the life of a believer. Human effort and wisdom alone are insufficient. This, therefore, is the main reason why we need to seek for more grace and empowerment to enable us to do more for the kingdom this coming year.
If you have actually put in conscious effort in evangelism, you can still do even more. If you have contributed little or nothing towards the Great Commission in the outgoing year, you have another opportunity to make up your mind and take a firm decision to be a fundamental part of God’s kingdom-increasing movement.
SEARCHLIGHT
Fervent prayer is essential for growing passion God for soul-winning.
PRAYER
O Lord, boost my zeal for soul-winning, in the name of Jesus.
