HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME

TEXT: He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end ( Ecclesiastes 3:11 )
Humans place high value on timing, which then carries over to our approach to prayer as we expect God to answer us immediately as we press His door bell in prayer. Many even wonder whether God is mindful of time and season as they wait for what seems like eternity for Him to grant their request. The concept of time, as understood by God, is far beyond our human understanding of clocks and calendars. For Him, it is not about the ticking of a clock or the turning of a page on a calendar; it is about the precise and perfect implementation of His plan and purpose for His creatures. God has a plan and a time frame for all of His actions, but He does not use our human methods of measuring time. Our understanding and perception of time differ greatly from His. The Bible tells us that ” He hath made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and ” For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” saith the Lord (Isaiah 55:8). The Bible also declares, ” Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8), reminding us that God’s timing is not limited by the constraints of time as we know it.God has a knack for showing up right when He’s needed most, saving, healing, delivering, and blessing His people. From Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s last-minute rescue from the fiery furnace of Nebuchadnezzar to Joseph’s perfectly-timed release from prison so he could become Pharaoh’s administrator, we see God’s impeccable timing at work. Even in the case of Lazarus, who was dead and buried for four days, Jesus showed up and restored him to life with just a prayer, proving that God is never too late. The Israelites were enslaved in Egypt for four hundred years, but God’s timing was perfect when He brought about their deliverance through Moses, who was born just when it was time for them to be freed. The Bible is rich with stories like these, highlighting God’s timely moves in human history. While we may question His timing from time to time, we can be assured that God is never late. Rather, He is always right on time, working behind the scenes in ways we can’t always see or understand.God’s seeming delay isn’t a denial, but rather a divine plan to preserve our lives and purity. He won’t grant requests that could harm us, instead ensuring that gifts we seek are provided at the proper time so that they remain beneficial and not harmful. In conclusion, God’s timing is always on point. Even when we may feel that He is not responding as quickly as we would like, we should remember that He is “not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness…” (2 Peter 3:9). When we feel the pressure of His perceived delay, it’s important to hold fast to our faith and hope in Him,continuing to pray more, reminding him that we are still at our post waiting for Him in faith. We should resist the temptation to give up and look for answers elsewhere, remaining faithful and patient.
SEARCHLIGHT: God’s timing is never off, even if it doesn’t align with our own sense of urgency.
