An Arsenal simply refers to a collection of weapons and tools for warfare purpose. The world we find ourselves is not a tranquil or peaceful one. It is one that is full of ups and downs. Life is indeed a battle field. We are not talking about witchcraft attacks and environment battles alone. How about battles against one’s salvation and holiness?
Many believers have been defeated in the battlefield of life by using crude and manual methods to navigate spiritual battles of life; hence,the reason why Apostle Paul reminded us in our considered text that our warfare is not against mere carnal forces, but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness as well as spiritual wickedness in high places.
TOP SPIRITUAL WEAPONS FOR SPIRITUAL BATTLES
- Prayer: Prayer is the channel via which we make our demands known to God. Many believers see prayer as your regular religious routine. Prayer goes a long way to give us divine guidelines and prayer offered in righteousness avails much. (James 5:16). Prayer invites God into our situation, weakens demonic forces and inwardly strengthens the believer. A prayerless believer is like a soldier who goes to war unharmed.
- The weapon of God’s word: The scripture is very powerful and loaded; it is indeed sharper than any double-edged sword. The word of God was also described by the scripture as the “sword of the spirit”. (Ephesians 6:17)
SEARCHLIGHT: Spiritual weapons are ultimately required to surmount the battles and devices of the devil.
PRAYER: O LORD, equip me with the wherewithal to challenge and conquer battles against my life and soul, in Jesus Mighty name.
