TEXT: Isaiah 53:4-5; Hebrews 9:22

KEY VERSE: And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22

The blood of Jesus flows eternally, offering redemption and deliverance to all mankind. The Bible tells us that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. The blood that was shed on the cross opened the door for humanity to find repentance, salvation, and a new life in Christ. Through this blood, we are set free from sin and its consequences, and we are brought into a relationship with God that is grounded in grace. This necessity of blood was foreshadowed in the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve’s disobedience led to sin and separation from God. For centuries, God sought a way to reconcile humanity to Himself, as He knew that without the shedding of blood, there could be no forgiveness of sin. Jesus, the Son of God, saw the urgency of the situation and willingly sacrificed Himself, shedding His blood on the cross to provide the forgiveness and restoration that humanity needed. Jesus’s sacrifice marked the culmination of God’s redemptive plan, as it brought about the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises and the realization of a new covenant.
