THE EVER-FLOWING BLOOD OF JESUS (4)

TEXT: Ephesians 1:7-14

When Jesus hung on the cross, he declared ‘It is finished!’ with his last breath. In that moment, he took upon himself the shame, guilt, and punishment for all our sins. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption, and through his resurrection on the third day, Jesus conquered sin, death, and the grave, opening the door to eternal life for all who believe. Jesus’s declaration of ‘It is finished!’ echoes through the ages, a resounding victory cry that signals the end of the age of sacrifice and the beginning of the age of grace. With the shedding of His blood and the power of His resurrection, Jesus has made a way for us to be free from our sins and the spiritual bondage that comes with them. Through Him, we can now have a relationship with God and inherit eternal life, confident that our sins have been forgiven and our sins have been washed away.
Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are given a powerful new life in Him. His restoration means that every dead thing in our life becomes alive. We are given the grace to live for Christ, to live in holiness, and to walk in His power. The blood of Jesus and His resurrection ensure that every curse, every negative thing, and every affliction is canceled. The power of His resurrection gives us the authority to declare victory over sickness, oppression, and death. Through Christ, we can experience wholeness, peace, and true freedom.
In this series about the ever-flowing blood of Jesus, we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. He finished it all, paying the ultimate price for our sins. The power of His resurrection is at work in our lives, ensuring that the blood of Jesus never stops flowing.
