TEXT: Isaiah 53:4-5; Hebrews 10:4-6

KEY VERSE: For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Hebrews 10:4

Jesus was the perfect, blameless Lamb of God who willingly sacrificed His spotless blood for our salvation. The blood of animals, such as lambs and goats, cannot take away our sins. Only the precious blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God, can cleanse our souls and remove the guilt and punishment for our transgressions. His blood is the only thing that has the power to save us and bring us into right standing with God.

After being crucified, Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to His disciples, offering words of comfort, guidance, and encouragement. He then ascended into heaven, returning to the Father. This ascension was foretold by the angel of God, who declared, ‘He is coming back again.’ Acts 1:9-11 As Jesus returned to heaven, He left us with a precious gift – the power of His blood, which can wash away our sins and bring us salvation. The return of Jesus is the ultimate triumph of the ever-flowing blood of Jesus. It will be a time of restoration, where all the believers who are called according to His purpose will be gathered together with Him in glory. The blood of Jesus will have completed its work, bringing about the redemption and salvation of God’s children. Therefore, let us not be complacent or distracted from the truth, but let us be vigilant and ready, for the time is drawing near.

As we await the second coming of the Lord, we must utilize the acronym “BLOOD” to guide us in our daily walk with Christ:
B – Bear one another’s burdens by being a channel of blessings; Galatians 6:2.
L – Live a life of devotion, offering up your talents, gifts, and possessions in service of the Lord; Romans 12:1.
O – Obey the Great Commission and spread the gospel to all nations; Matthew 28:19-20.
O – Observe daily prayer as a sacred time to commune with God; 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
D – Depend on the Holy Spirit to guide and empower you in all you do, allowing His wisdom and grace to direct your steps; John 16:13.

We must live in this world, but our hearts must remain focused on Jesus and the promise of His return. Every day brings us one step closer to the moment when we will be reunited with our Lord in glory. As we continue to live in the power of the ever-flowing blood of Jesus, let us hold fast to our faith, for the time is indeed drawing near. May we stand firm in our faith, living each day with the hope and assurance that comes from the precious blood of our Savior, knowing that one day we will be reunited with Him in His heavenly kingdom.

SEARCH LIGHT: Believers must remain vigilant, faithful, and ready for the return of Christ.

PRAYER: Father God, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life and my household, and I declare our victory over the enemy.
