THE NEED FOR A BRIGHT VISION IN THE NEW YEAR

TEXT”Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” – Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

Beloved, as we embark on 2025, a clear vision is essential for spiritual growth and fulfillment. Without divine direction, we risk losing focus, drifting aimlessly, and succumbing to purposelessness. A bright vision illuminates our path, guiding us through life’s challenges.

The consequences of lack of vision are dire. Spiritual stagnation sets in, hindering progress. Purposelessness leads to confusion, misdirection, and unfulfilled potential. Proverbs 29:18 warns that without vision, people perish. In contrast, those who keep God’s law experience happiness.

A bright vision possesses key characteristics. It is God-centered, grounded in Scripture, and faith-driven. This vision enables us to prioritize eternal values, navigate life’s complexities, and overcome obstacles.

To cultivate a bright vision:

Seek God’s guidance through prayer and meditation.
Study Scripture, allowing its truths to shape your perspective.
Surround yourself with positive influences, supportive believers.
