UNSHAKABLE ZEAL FOR EVANGELISM

TEXT: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
As believers, we are commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ to spread the gospel to every corner of the world. This mandate is not limited to favorable circumstances or comfortable environments. In fact, Jesus Himself faced opposition, persecution, and adversity as He preached the gospel, yet He remained steadfast in His mission.
In our text today, Jesus commands His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This instruction emphasizes the importance of evangelism, regardless of the challenges or obstacles we may face. The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, wrote, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16)
As we strive to fulfil this Great Commission, we must be willing to take the gospel to every kind of person, in every kind of situation. We must be prepared to face rejection, persecution, and adversity, but also to experience the joy of seeing lives transformed by the power of the gospel. The apostle Peter, in his first epistle, wrote, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” (1 Peter 3:15)
As we share the gospel with others, we must remember that it is the power of God unto salvation. The apostle Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)
SEARCHLIGHT: Remain committed to evangelism, regardless of the challenges or obstacles.
PRAYER: Father, grant me the compassion and zeal to share the gospel with everyone I need.
