WALKING IN SPIRIT

WALKING IN SPIRIT

JANUARY 7, 2026

TEXT: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)

Typically, considering the following, we shall surely obtain the ability to be walking in the Spirit (amen).
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
(Galatians 5:16–17)

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.”
Romans 6:16
The ability to walk in the Spirit is triggered when we totally yield ourselves.
“Walking in the Spirit” is the intentional practice of aligning one’s thoughts, motives, and actions with the guidance of the Holy Spirit rather than following impulsive human desires.

In the year 2026 and beyond, as digital and societal distractions intensify, pollution is promoted, and other vices are on the high side, we need a high level of spiritual discipline which requires a conscious daily surrender. It is not a one-time event but a continuous rhythm—a “step-by-step” progression where the believer remains sensitive to the Spirit’s prompting, resulting in the natural outflow of love, joy, self-control, and all other fruit of the Spirit.
To walk in the Spirit is to live from an internal compass of peace and holiness to the assurance of externally refined character, which reflects from your internally sanctified life.
