WAR AGAINST DESTINY ABORTION II
February 15, 2025
TEXT: “Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.” (Genesis 49:3-4)
In continuation of yesterday’s discussion, we shall proceed to discuss other means/channels through which a person’s destiny may be aborted.
WAYS BY WHICH DESTINIES MAY BE ABORTED (CONT’D)
✅ Spiritual negligence: Many people have had their glorious destinies aborted through various instances of spiritual negligence. The Apostle Peter charged us to be sober and vigilant at all times because the devil never rests or relents. It is we Christians who easily become complacent and prematurely relaxed, thereby giving the lurking enemy an edge over our destinies. (1 Peter 5:8)
✅ Ancestral forces: It is one thing for us to do our part to ensure destiny fulfillment. It is another thing to stop ancestral and foundational forces from hindering our destiny. The majority of us who are Africans originate from backgrounds that are thick with idolatry, witchcraft, and occultism. If care is not taken, one may find it quite difficult to manifest and shine.
✅ Evil company: Walking and interacting with people who are enemies of God may be another potential channel towards destiny abortion.
✅ Weak or zero prayer life: Prayer is the key that opens all doors. If you don’t have a stable prayer life, it may open doors for the enemy’s arrows to penetrate and hinder your destiny from manifesting.
HOW TO AVOID DESTINY ABORTION
- Pray as if your life depends on it.
- Let the word of God be your guiding light. (Joshua 1:8)
- Connect to the Holy Spirit. You cannot afford to lead a life of trial and error. The Holy Spirit is needed to boost your chances of destiny manifestation.
- Make holiness and righteousness your watchword. A polluted and sinful life is a direct gateway for the enemy, thereby boosting destiny abortion.
SEARCHLIGHT: We must strive not to allow our destiny to fall into the enemy’s hands. The plans and purposes of God for our lives are quite colorful, and the devil, having known this, is always struggling to cut short our destiny. We must be on top of our game to avoid being caught off guard.
PRAYER: My Lord, deliver me from destiny aborters who have made my case a personal project, in Jesus’ mighty name.
